Pulse Customers Day 2015

On the 24th of September 2015, the Veerkracht Conference Centre formed the backdrop for the Pulse Customers Day 2015. More than 100 of the attendees were treated to a full afternoon programme that can best be described as inspirational for innovation, cloud, AX7, practice, now and the future.*

The Pulse Customers Day aims to bring customers closer together, to allow customers to benefit from the latest knowledge and to ensure they are fully informed about the developments relating to Pulse and Microsoft Dynamics AX. For example, Pulse was the first in the Netherlands to show a live demo of Microsoft Dynamics AX 7. Trendwatcher Adjiedj Bakas kicked off the day to help prepare the guests for the future. What does technology do for and with humans? Mathijs Bouman, famous from RTLZ, the Financial Dagblad newspaper and De Wereld Draait Door, closed the day with a sensational and interactive demonstration, combined with a good dose of humour, about big data and robotisation. Is there a correlation between the quantity of chicken that is consumed and the import of oil? Or a correlation between the number of drownings and the number of times Nicolas Cage appears on TV? It furthermore transpires that countries that use robotisation boast economic growth and low unemployment. A provocative and confrontational demonstration, but with perspective.

Within the partner market, interested parties were able to become acquainted with the various solutions that the Pulse partners have on offer. A few reactions from those present:

  • “A useful day to become acquainted with the future”
  • “A good opportunity to gather information and new ideas”
  • “A broad pallet of visions and ideas”
  • “An interesting programme about the latest developments”
  • “An ideal afternoon to become better acquainted with Microsoft Dynamics AX”

At the close of the day, the number one gadget of the near future, a fabulous 3D printer by Ultimaker, was raffled to attendees. This was enthusiastically accepted by the lucky winner. Pulse therefore looks back with great satisfaction at this special day.
