Working towards the same goal
The key asset during an ERP implementation is the human factor. Experience has shown that “a successful implementation is impossible without a good team”. Often a very small group of people within an organisation are behind the initiative for an ERP project. To secure the success of the project, everyone involved has to work enthusiastically and with commitment towards the same goal.
The purpose of a Pulse Boardroom session is to identify the visions and objectives of the project at ‘c-level’ together with the customer. The results are translated into clear details presented as an internal briefing. “We want to upgrade to the latest version” does not qualify as a vision as far as we are concerned. It may well ultimately be just the solution you are looking for, but we want to make sure the underlying need is revealed and understood. Once the fundamental ideas have been defined, the essence can be explained correctly and simply to other people. Because, as Einstein once said: “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough”.
